It looks like the Russians are getting credit for outing the corruption that plagues our political system.
Hillary would also like Americans to believe that if they don't vote for her they are traitors, collaborating with the enemy (Russians) as one of her inner circle cronies points out;

What is worrisome here is that the US is unable to effectively clean up it's own house.
Why has the DOJ and the FBI not taken the lead in weeding out the corruption?
The perpetrators, on the other hand, are hoping that American voters are dumb enough to buy into the absurd defense that the Russians are the bad guys for exposing the truth.

While the Clinton campaign hasn't outright disputed the contents of the emails, they have not yet confirmed their authenticity. Podesta did take to Twitter questioning the veracity of some of the emails, though he didn't specify which ones. He wrote that he didn't have the time to verify which emails are true and which are fake, and he also blamed Russia for the hack, claiming the country has been issuing cyber attacks as a means to "throw the election to Donald Trump."
